Katy Area Artists is a 501(C)(3) non-profit artists group located in Katy, Texas. KAA seeks to educate and mentor adult artists (age 16 and older), and build a supportive arts community in Katy. This is accomplished through meetings featuring artist workshops and demonstrations, art exhibitions and competitions, and art mentoring sessions. Katy Area Artists is a member league of the Lone Start Art Guild. Through this our members are connected with a wide array of artistic opportunities throughout southeastern Texas.
All of the instruments which have found new life in the Music to the Eyes annual art fundraiser through the generous donation of time and talent by local artists, have been donated by the following local string instrument businesses:
Lisle Violin Shop is a family-owned stringed instrument specialty shop located in Pasadena and Houston, Texas. "We specialize in violins, violas, cellos and basses. We also carry bows, cases, and accessories. We offer high-quality, professionally adjusted instruments for rental and for purchase, in price ranges affordable for beginners and advanced players. We also offer repair and restoration services for instruments and bows. Our friendly staff consists of string players, repair technicians and violin makers."
Fishburn Violin Shop is a locally owned specialty stringed instrument shop. We deal in violins, violas, cellos, and basses. FVS houses an in-store repair/restoration facility. In addition, we carry all accessories required to be an orchestra member. Fishburn Violin Shop representatives make weekly calls to most area schools. With over 70 years of experience in stringed instruments, sales and service, we want to be your orchestra shop and will value your business with the highest degree of service.

Tradition Bank on the Grand Parkway has proudly served Katy and its surrounding communities since 2001. Our Chairman of the Board, Downy Vickery, and our professional staff are known for their spirit of integrity, personal customer service and generous philosophy.
